Description: Akane, fondly called ne-chan is an artistic and intelligent person. She is an exchange student from Kishuu, China. Her mother is a famous Chinese actress while her father is a well-known Japanese businessman. She transferred to Kaibara High University because of her parent’s sudden decision to enter into a business partnership deal with Daikotsu Mimazaki, Kisa’s father and one of the wealthiest stockholders in their company. The first time she was introduced in the story, Akane appears as if she doesn’t care about anything except studying. It's been her first priority in life, written at the very top of her list. But later on, she learned to mingle with others and get along with Alli and the rest of the group.

Akane’s been on the honor roll since she was in kindergarten. She has extremely fast reading skills and just likes exceptionally complex books. She may seemed peculiar and uncanny sometimes, due to her introvert nature. However, she does loves her peers and puts others feelings before her own. Despite her soft side, Akane is into sports too, wherein she is one of the prominent players of kaibara's all-girls volleyball team.

Since Akane is gentle, courteous and well-refined, she exhibits a responsible-type image that is evident on her actions. Though chosen as a candidate for the next SC president, she felt embarrassed about it and drops off the topic as much as possible. And Because of her shy attitude, her feelings for Yamato Tachikawa, the captain of the soccer team, remain unprogressive even though almost everyone in school pushes them to each other that made another guy that is close to her definitely jealous.
